UPDATE 11/21/2024
Community Day – Our Community Day was a great success! Food trucks Meltdown and Cotee River Creamery provided delicious food, the weather was gorgeous, and friends and neighbors got together and shared a wonderful afternoon. Thank you to all who attended!
Hammerhead Pool – The pool repairs are completed, and the water is sparkly blue!
Gulf Waters Pool – The pool sustained underground water pipe damage in addition to the initial damage to the motors and filters. All of that has been fixed and is up and running. Unfortunately, the age of the pool – 20 years – and wear and tear, have left the coating on the pool in poor condition. The risk of waiting increases the chance of substantial damage to the concrete shell and further expense. The decision was made to recoat the pool surface and replace coping around the perimeter now while it’s empty, which will give us a beautiful pool with a 12-year warranty and likely another 20 years of use. It will be done over the next few weeks and ready in time for snow-bird season!
Gym Repairs – The 4 pieces of ruined equipment have been removed, and remediations to the gym walls and floors are underway.
Front and West Entrance Gates – New gate motors have been installed, internet resumed, and My-Q is functioning. There was still an issue with the relay which has stalled the final operation of the gates. The concerns of our residents are completely understood, and the contractor is working fervently to bring everything to 100%.
Vinyl Perimeter Fencing – This is a major undertaking and bids are being evaluated for completing the job.
Landscaping – Red Tree has begun removing dead shrubbery and trimming back trees and bushes. A separate crew will be dispatched to remove the fallen weeping willow and palm trees. Sod and mulch replacement will be ongoing as needed throughout the community.
Debris Removal – Pasco County is offering one last free debris removal for HOA communities. We have contacted the county to be put on the list, but don’t have any dates yet. If you have storm related debris that needs to be taken away, please reach out to Cari at Sentry (cknauss@sentrymgt.com) and give her your name, address and contact information. Once we are given a time frame for pickup from the county we will let you know.
Wishing everyone a safe and enjoyable Christmas and Holiday Season!
